During the annual American Riding Instructors Association convention in Orlando, Florida, in October 2005, Woodedge's own Bob Allen was honored with the prestigious Master Instructor designation.

Woodedge.com inquired about the award, and learned from Charlotte Kneeland, ARIA director, that the Master Instructor designation places Bob in a very elite group, as the award in reserved for only the very best instructors. Bob now joins the distinguished company of George Morris, Bert de Nemethy, and Jack LeGoff, who are among the very few who have had the award bestowed upon them since ARIA's founding in 1984.

Bob, a nationally recognized riding instructor, show judge, and horse trainer, is a charter member of ARIA. He has served the American Riding Instructor Certification Program (ARICP) as national panelist and was Panel Chairman from 1985-2001.
